Wild horses, wild plants & wildlife
Bryerly Farms is a rustic Mt. Diablo view farm located in Walnut Creek. Inspired by permaculture, we grow veggies, fruits and herbs using organic, regenerative farming methods and wildcrafting. Our goal as land stewards is to provide sanctuary for rescued wild horses, respect and protect wildlife with our safe zone habitat and riparian restoration project. We strive to build healthy soil, sequester carbon, reconnect the community with horses and the natural world. Bryerly Farms is a peaceful setting to unplug and relax. We host Mustang Meditation™, founded by Anne Novak, where people sit and meditate with rescued wild horses who have amazing healing hearts.
We grow olives, nopales, cactus fruit, apples, wild chamomile, wild lettuce, mustard, horehound, plantain, milk thistle, nettles, wild chamomile, rosemary, oregano, thyme, purslane and mint.
